FAQs
Can I rent a pit? And if so, what does it cost?
Yes, you can rent a pit. Please register under menu item "Pits".
1.) What does camping cost and how do I get a ticket?
See menu item "Camping".
2.) At what time can I arrive/depart?
Arrival is possible from Friday, 16 September, 08.00 am. Departure is possible until Sunday, 18 September 08.00 pm.

3.) Will my parents / accompanying people have to buy tickets, too?

4.) May I ride my scoot on the premises outside of the racing tracks?
Outside of the marked tracks, it is absolutely forbidden to ride a scoot!!!
5.) 1 oder 2 Tage und gibt es Tagestickets?
The Scooter-Weekend 2011 will take place on Saturday 17 September and Sunday 18 September.
6.) Do dyno runs cost anything?
On the Scooter-Weekend, dyno runs are free.
7.) What is allowed on the campsite and what isn't? May I barbecue / booze / play loud music etc.?

8.) What fringe activities are there? When and where can I participate/watch?
There will be DSSC, circuit racing, dyno runs etc. See menu item "Programme".
9.) Which other vehicles are allowed on the premises? Can I bring pocket bikes, pit bikes, quads, mopeds, motorcycles etc.

Admission to the Racing Tracks:
- Clothes with long sleeves and trousers (full-length trousers, jacket, and long finger gloves)
- Helmet with visor or goggles (strap closed and operational)
- Riding only allowed with disclaimer band. A disclaimer (completely filled out, signed by you and, if you are not 18 yet, by a parent or legal guardian) will have to be handed in at the information desk; the band that you are then given there will have to be worn around the wrist so as to be easily visible.
- Two operational brakes, working independently of each other
- Scooters with safety defects and serious malfunctions are not allowed on the track.
- The vehicles may not leak any liquids (oil, coolant, etc.)
- A fully operational rear silencer (not gutted etc.) must be installed
Forbidden on the racing track is:
- Changing direction
- Riding with pillion
- Parking, stopping, etc. is forbidden on the track, the emergency routes, and closed-off areas
- Riding at walking pace
- Doing burn-outs
The following vehicles are not allowed on track:
- Minibikes, pocket bikes, pit bikes etc.
- Geared motorcycles with more than 100 cc (e.g. Cagiva Mito, Aprilia RS 125, etc.)
- Racing bikes and motorcycles
- Quads
The following vehicles are allowed on track:
- All scooters (i.e. with two- or four-stroke engines and with automatic or geared transmission)
- Geared motorcycles of up to 100 cc (e.g. with Minarelli AM engines)
You are to follow instructions of the Scooter-Weekend GmbH and Nürburgring staff.
Not following their instructions may result in being banished from the event!
